to be honest with you u should make the hq around that size instead on making the lq that size keep the lq size as is, but thats just my opinion i'm pretty sure your gonna do it anyways it just a though but it wouldnt matter cause im gonna download anyways

If you want to encode 720p,you should do it in 90mb or encode will not be good enough for 720p

actually i like the current Lq cos the size is small and i don't have to wait too long to watch it.
for slower internet user like me, 15-20 mb different is really matter.

instead of going completely to 1280x720p 8-10-bit
why not use Resolution 1024x576p 8-bit?
that way old PC users will still able to play videos from Cyber12

i don't want 720p. my old PC won't able to handle it besides
size must be around 92MB (too big size) & bitrate must be 500kbps at minimum for HD 720p LQ to look good Quality.

it would be better if you either stick to SD 480p or change resolution to Semi-HD 1024x576p 400kbps. Quality would be really good compared to 480p & size will be around acceptable 70-75MB.

abdus and hyphee if your asking for uncensored animes for ongoing animes then your asking for the impossible because they only come out on dvd's(unless anime is uncensored to begin with) which take like months or a year depending on anime as well.

Just make all LQ videos playable on ps3 I love watching anime on my 32 inch tv rather than my ok pc. And I wouldn't mind 720p just make sure the encode is right and proper file size as well.

1024x576p 70MB Size is Ok. its just 5MB more.
but keep it hardsub & 8-bit.
many ppl like play not only on PC but also on other ps3, ipod,.. too.
also no hardware currently actually supports 10-bits within hardware
any 10-bit video gets dithered to 8-bit by default & it works only on PC.
its same watching 8-bit video with needless 40% more CPU utilization.
with 1024x576p 8-bits quality would be better compared to 480p 10-bits & it will also save encoding time which 10-bit takes.

just watched sample 576p 8-bits & compared it to 480p 10-bits
Picture Quality was lot sharper & better compared to 480p 10-bits
no AV Sync & pixel issues
Go for 576p 8-bit

i would say no because my computer (spesially this one for download purpose only) cant stand up to 720 p, as far as i know my computer only can do 480 p max (with lil bit lag on the way)

but i would say yes for better quality but still need more thinking because not all we have a good or at least average computer

Please No, I use Cyber12 because the LQ works on my Older/Mobile Devices and already the current format you use is barely working on most of them. If you raise the LQ quality it means that it will not work on those devices and I probably will be coming here less often since I'll have to start converting videos in order to watch them. There are already sites that upload 480p videos for people that want them. I came here because you don't. If I want higher quality I'll just download the normal vid, but the fact I don't want HQ I want LQ. Another thing is that sure 75-80mb isn't that much, but it nearly doubles the previous file size and that means I'll only be able to keep about half as much Anime on my Harddrive. And with Cyber12's links constantly going down because of stupid CP "violtions" keeping my ofline cash of Anime is a must.

Please don't up the LQ quality. Thankyou for your time

I say NO. The main reason why people download LQ is to save hdd space.
15-20mb may not be that big difference if there's only one episode we're talking about but what if you have downloaded like 100 eps. That would total to 1.5-2gb additional space to be occupied on your hdd.
I used to download 55mb files, now it's 65mb. I can't take 75-80mb anymore.

What processor do your computer have?I thought only Pentium 3 can't support 10 bit.Second is i am a encoder my self.That 10 or 15 mb also change the quality of the video. You should check "Allison to liliia" and "Ao no exorcist"their video quality is completely different.And if you talk about hard disk space, it's same for me.I save my anime into blank disk every month.If the video quality gets better,it's more worth to make file size 80 mb.

so, go for it zirkov , replace the lQ format

DLing 80mb LQ file in cyber12 is way better than DLing 600MB files on other sites which surprisingly has almost the same quality.

No! Don't do it. Anime shows tend to look weird with 720p. It lags and the sharp, well-defined lines annoy me. I like the way it is!!
